As a newborn baby photographer, it is important to know that the ideal time to schedule a newborn session is within 10 to 20 days of the baby's birth. During this period, babies tend to be more flexible and cooperative, making them easier for photographers to capture amazing newborn photos.
At this age, babies are usually very sleepy and cuddly which makes them perfect subjects for beautiful pictures. Additionally, they have not developed strong neck muscles yet so they can be comfortably posed in different positions without any discomfort.
But if you go past this time frame we can still get beautiful images. Usually babies are wide awake and stare right into camera.
