WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE BOOK A SESSION WITH MARISELA? The entire portrait process takes place in three meeting with us. The Pre-session Consultation, your Session and your Ordering Appointment.
Sessions are held in my home studio in Sterling, Virginia.
SESSION FEE The session fee is due at the time of booking in order to guarantee your appointment date and time. You may reschedule the session, provided you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice; however, we ask that you limit rescheduling to one time only.
Digital files are not included with your session fee, but can be purchased A La Carte or in a Collection.
Quality, custom photography by a specially-trained portrait artist is not for everyone, and takes an enormous amount of time and creative commitment. We are priced in order to continue the premier service we provide to our clients. For example, there are discount stores, department stores and boutiques. We are the "boutique" of photography studios with a fine art product and service that comes with this business model.
For your convenience, Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. Prices and subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be honored for thirty days for sessions that are booked with the retainer fee. Special charity discounts or offers cannot be combined.
CAMERAS, CAMCORDERS, OR RECORDING devises of any kind are not permitted at your photographic session. Please leave all camera equipment and devises at home.
REFUND POLICY In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any unforeseen incident that prevents me from shooting on a scheduled date and time, the client will receive a full refund of their deposit.
CANCELATION POLICY If you must cancel your session due to illness or other personal emergency, please do your best to provide the studio with a 48 hours notice so that your session time can be made available to other clients. Failure to provide adequate notice of cancellation or multiple rescheduling will result in the forfeiture of your session fee, and another session fee payment will be required to hold your new date.
I take the utmost care with respect to the proper exposure, retouching, and archiving of my digital images. In the unlikely event of data loss, camera equipment malfunction, or photographer illness that prevents the undertaking of the session, photographer’s liability will be limited to the refund of all session fees, or a new session can be scheduled at no additional cost to the client.
